Rawalpindi Women University (RWU) is a public sector, HEC-recognized university dedicated to women's higher education, located on 6th Road in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, and established in 2019 by upgrading the Government Viqar-un-Nisa Postgraduate College for Women. RWU offers BS, MS/MPhil and PhD programmes across its Faculties of Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences, in disciplines such as computer science, information technology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, statistics, management, business administration, economics, English, fine arts, media and communication, political science, psychology and sociology, including lateral-entry pathways for associate degree holders.
