📖 About National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS)

The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) is a federally chartered public sector medical university established in 2015 and headquartered on The Mall in Rawalpindi, adjacent to the Army Medical College. Governed under the Pakistan Army's medical education system, NUMS oversees a large network of constituent and affiliated medical, dental and nursing colleges across Pakistan, including the Army Medical College. The university offers MBBS and BDS through its colleges, along with BS programmes in medical laboratory sciences, nursing, human nutrition, biosciences and allied health, and an extensive portfolio of MPhil, MS, MD/MS clinical and PhD programmes in basic and clinical medical sciences. NUMS is a leading hub for medical education, military and civilian health training and biomedical research.
