King Edward Medical University (KEMU) is one of Pakistan's oldest and most prestigious medical institutions, founded in 1860 in Lahore and chartered as a public sector university in 2005 under the KEMU Act. Located at Nila Gumbad, Anarkali, KEMU is affiliated with major teaching hospitals including Mayo Hospital, Lady Willingdon Hospital, and Lady Aitchison Hospital, giving students hands-on clinical exposure across Medicine, Surgery, and Allied Health Sciences.
